Horses have been part of Mollie’s life since she was young. That connection has stayed with her, alongside an appreciation for the quiet routines that make caring for a horse feel so special.
After hearing from riders who felt existing bit balms weren’t meeting their needs, Mollie saw an opportunity to create something better. When her own horses took to it, she decided to share Bit Butter with other riders.
A challenging pregnancy and the premature birth of her daughter deepened her appreciation for simple, thoughtful care. Through an intense chapter of family life, small moments of comfort and consistency came to mean more than ever.
Those values are at the heart of Bit Butter: thoughtful care, a simple routine and time spent with the horses we love. It is a personal approach to an everyday ritual — one little moment before you take the reins.

We are starting with a focused balm collection: Original, Apple and Honey, each offered in two useful sizes. A portable 75 g push-up tube for the tack box and a 150 g tub for the stable. Simple choices, thoughtfully presented, so you can find the format that fits your routine.
